Why I said F$%K

Most people, including my wife... and my 3 year old (Eish!) wondered why I said "fuck" in an otherwise beautiful sounding ballad I posted to YouTube on Friday night. I am going to tell you why...

But first let me tell you that I swear very seldom, only when it's truly called for. My dad taught me that the only expletive necessary in daily life is the word "bugger", which I use liberally, making me sound like a character played by Hugh Laurie (House, Black Adder, etc). But lately I have had so much stress and pressure caused by various things and from time to time a few choice words have come to light. And I found it quite cathartic. Being a good Christian boy I was taught that swear words are bad, so I was surprised to experience a rush of pleasure and relief as I said silently to myself, "I have had enough of this shit", or better yet, the classic "fuck this shit". Lol.

So my reasoning for the swear word in a YouTube clip was the following, the people behind the lyrics deserve it... I have been formulating my emotions into words for quite sometime regarding the hardship of building my life up to a point, only to be completely screwed over. I decided the people involved only one short word in the song... "fuckers".

Phew, okay, even I am freaked out by all the foul language in this post! But that's the story behind this weekend's swearing.

And if you missed it, here's a beautiful ballad expressing my undying love for my wife and kids, interjected by a terrible word...
